At Equine Connections, LLC, our mission is to create a community that fosters healing, growth & connections. We facilitate activities using horsemanship, group activities & care of the animals to promote independence, social & life skills & healing.

Equine Connections, LLC. is a full-service boarding facility. We also offer a variety of equine assisted learning programs and services led by compassionate professionals.

Barn Manager & Instructor, Ashley has been teaching for over 10 years! Her experience with horses goes all the way back to her childhood in 4H, Showmanship, Jumping, Western Pleasure and so much more. She has had horses most all of her life and her horse Special has been with her since he was born.
Ashley is patient and kind with her clients & the horses and conveys that in her sessions here at the barn. She teaches those just starting out all the way through advanced riding. She works mostly with our adult groups and intermediate riders here at the barn!
She is also our barn manager here at the ranch, so you'll see her at the barn quite a bit. Her wealth of knowledge and kindness make her presence here a great addition to our barn family over the years!
Instructor, Meghan is PATH certified & has been teaching for over 10 years! She’s dedicated to her work as an instructor is always learning & growing in her personal and horsemanship skills. Meghan taught peewee polo at one point in her horse career-she’s patient and has a calmness about her that helps her clients find their confidence in not only their riding but themselves. She works with all ages and abilities here!
She is also dedicated to her Andalusian Stormy who challenges her to grow everyday. She loves to travel all over the world.
Instructor, Brooke is a certified personal trainer & wellness coach with 15 years of horse riding experience. She has worked extensively at groundwork & dressage training, and is now learning her way around western. Her wealth of horse knowledge alongside health & fitness makes her a great instructor for those aiming to increase their strength & seat mechanics. She focuses on healthy habits and loves to challenge her students to engage their muscles. Brooke started as a volunteer and now teaches lessons to all ages & abilities! She continues to help out around the barn when she is not walking her dogs or hiking.
Instructor, Taylor is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) who is passionate about helping people of all ages & abilities build confidence and skills through equine experiences. With eight years of experience working with horses, Taylor values inclusivity, personal growth, and the powerful connection between humans and horses. With a background in working with people with special needs & at-risk youth, She is committed to creating a supportive & encouraging environment where every rider—whether a beginner or experienced—can thrive.
Horse Care, Luane has been with the barn for over 7 years now. She has helped with everything from horse care, feeding the horses, camps, fixing things, building things, mucking stalls, you name it. She comes from Montana & has a background in emergency & first response work. She & her husband live in the valley & enjoy going on cruises when she's not at the barn. Luane also helps out with our Helping Hands acclimating them to the barn and showing them how we get things done around here.
Reiki/Energy, Bekah is a Reiki Master/Teacher & is our onsite meditation & energy work lead. She works to integrate meditation, mindfulness practices, energy work & other healing practices into our non mounted & mounted programs. She works with all ages & abilities at the barn & is trained to integrate these practices with the horses. She also has a background in early childhood development & trauma.
You will see her out at the barn keeping up on her horsemanship skills, running our camps & our mindfulness events. She also runs individual & small group sessions throughout the week!
Owner & Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning, Virginia has dreamed of living and working with horses since she was a little girl. Her professional experience as a Social Worker and her passion for horses drove her to follow her dream and share it through the creation of Equine Connections, LLC.
Virginia and Equine Connections, LLC. are on a mission share the joy and relief that the human and horse connection brings.
Virginia works both in the barn and behind the scenes to make Equine Connections a safe and productive environment for fellow horse-lovers. She uses her knowledge and experience in health care and civil service. Virginia is certified through PATH as and ESMHL instructor, with riding experience in barrels, dressage and trail riding. She loves to share her skills and experience with others through lessons and volunteerism.
Elsy is a coon hound, mastiff mix. Her sweet demeanor is the a wonderful way to be greeted when you arrive at the barn. She loves to quietly sit with you and be pet, but you can also catch her chasing bunnies and birds.
Elsy's brother is Hank!

Hank is a coon hound, mastiff mix & a ball of energy who loves to chase anything that moves. He enjoys going on runs with Virginia and trail rides during camping trips.

Snoopy is a sweet boy who is very slow to warm up, so we ask that you don't try to pet him when you first get here. He loves animal crackers and salmon flavored treats, so if you want to win him over offer a treat and he might just let you pet him.

Lady is a sweet girl who will greet you when you arrive and might even try for a car ride. If she's feeling like you're not giving her enough attention she will find her way to the table and meet you eye to eye to talk about it. She loves belly rubs and running the ranch all day long.Est. 2023
