Duchess is a beautiful grey Percheron mare who has been part of our family for about a year. Known for her gentle soul and deep compassion, she brings love to everyone she meets. You may notice that Duchess is missing 1 ear, and the other is floppy due to past allergies. Recently, she experienced and eye injury, resulting in the loss of vision in one eye. While she is still on the road to recovery, we eagerly await her return to the program, where her warm presence is greatly missed.

Wrangler is a buckskin Draft cross who has been with us from the start of our program almost 8 years ago. He's a cornerstone of our programs, working gently with our littlest riders and delighting in trail rides. Wrangler also plays a key role in our recovery and meditation sessions, offering a calming presence. You'll find him always on the lookout for treats, he's a beloved and steady part of our team.

Diamond is a sorrel Quarter Horse. His previous career was in roping and was very good at what he did. He is very athletic and willing to do any job asked of him. He enjoys treats and going on trail rides. He is a wonderful teacher in our program whose calm demeanor helps build confidence. He is very sensitive, so ground work with Diamond helps build his confidence. He does require arthritis medication and joint supplements.

Joplin is a bay roan Quarter Horse cross. She enjoy working with women, in particular moms. She is a wonderfully active part of our riding program. She has some confirmation issues as well as navicular, so she requires some extra care and medications of her feet to keep her comfortable. She loves her time being groomed by her riders and her time in the pasture.

Cochise is a bay cross whose previous job was ranching and roping. He came to us for a retirement job and enjoys his time teaching kids and adults safety, confidence and boundaries. He loves to walk around with his riders and work at liberty. Just like many of our horses he requires joint medications and supplements to help keep him happy and healthy.

Moon is a black and white paint Quarter Horse, who came from the Tucson area. She demands confidence from her handlers. She enjoys working with our smallest clients, participating in our meditations and her time in the pasture.

Rooster is a sorrel Quarter Horse. He was reining horse previously and came to use in 2022. He is no longer able to be ridden, so he works with our recovery programs, meditations, sound baths and other non mounted activities. He requires specialty shoeing and medications to keep him comfortable. His stall is located in the barn and he's the first face you see when you arrive. He greets you with nicker and walks over. Be sure to pet him when you see him!

Jake is a buckskin Quarter Horse. His previous jobs included roping, ranching, gymkhana's and trail riding. He has a knee with an old injury so we keep him comfortable and working in our non mounted programs like Equine Assisted Learning, meditations and sound baths. He loves being bathed, groomed and walked around.

Finn is a sorrel Quarter Horse. He previously was a ranching horse. He has DSLD, so he has come to our program to be semi retired. He requires specialty shoes to help keep him comfortable. He is no longer in our riding program, however he is still working in our non mounted programs. He enjoys baths and getting his face wet in the hose.

Little is a chestnut Thoroughbred. He is anything but little in stature and personality. He did briefly race on the track and then spent some much needed time being cared for by a sweet family before he came to us. He enjoys his job in the arena teaching kids and adults about boundaries and confidence. He loves when you scratch his face. Little's best friend is Alvin.

River is a bay Quarter horse. He is a very easy going guy who enjoys having his face rubbed, going on trail rides and being in the pasture with his buddies. He has done barrels and ranch work in the past. He's still young, so he enjoys his riders that like to get up and go! He goes to sorting practices with kids and adults who are learning about this sport.

Lady is a grey Thoroughbred. She does have issues with her confirmation, so she wears specialty boots to keep her comfortable. She enjoys her work in the arena teaching riders about dressage, the fundamentals of riding and groundwork. Her best friends are Jitana and Stormy. She is very sweet and you will fall in love with her the moment you meet her.

Stormy is a bay Quarter horse gelding. He joins us from a kind woman who wanted him to enjoy retirement while still having a purpose. He is not a wonderful part of our riding program as well as our non mounted activities. He enjoys working through patterns and helping little kids grow in their confidence with grooming and taken up independently. He does have navicular which requires specialty shoeing and additional medications and supplements.

Pickles is a spirited sorrel Quarter Horse. He has a background in roping, bringing athleticism and energy to everything he does. Now, he thrives in his role supporting individuals on their journeys of recovery, self-discovery, and confidence building. Mack is a Jack donkey. He came to us after spending about 10 years in the wild. Though he's still in training and requires careful handling, Mack's trust and friendliness grow with each passing day. His favorite treat is a crunchy carrot, and he's slowly warming up to his new life within our program.
